Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Damian Boylan, to Regina Mundi College.
The Lord Mayor met with our students and staff and shared an inspiring message encouraging everyone to “Be Sound”. He spoke about the importance of being kind, respectful, understanding, inclusive and patient. His message reminded us all of the positive impact we can have on others through our everyday actions and how important it is to create a welcoming and inclusive community.
Cllr Boylan also highlighted the importance of public transport and its role in connecting communities and supporting a more sustainable future.
Our students greatly appreciated the opportunity to meet the Lord Mayor, hear his words of wisdom and learn more about civic responsibility and the importance of making a difference in our community.
We are very grateful to Cllr Boylan for taking the time to visit Regina Mundi College and for sharing such a meaningful and positive message with our school community.
