Minor A and B hockey

Both our minor teams were in action against Ashton yesterday.

Both teams played brilliantly securing a 6-0 win for the A team and a 1-1 draw for the B team.

Goals from Thea Barry, Emily Power, Isabella McGrath, Alice Doyle and Lucy O’Brien ensured the win for the A’s as well as excellent defending and goal keeping from Tara Murphy.

The B team did very well for their first trip out. It was a very close encounter from start the finish. A goal from Lucy Madden secured them the draw.
