BT Young Scientist Competition 2024

Congratulations to our two groups that secured a place in the BT Young Scientist competition. Hannah Hunt and Rosin Murphy will be looking at “The difference in safety between hockey and camogie helmets”. Our second successful group that includes Cara Mckeown, Faye Dunwell and Fallon o’ Brien, who will be looking at “the effectiveness of the Deposit Return Scheme in reducing plastic waste in Cork”. The prestigious and renowned competition will take place from the 8th-11th of January in Dublin’s RDS arena. The best of projects and technologies will be on show for the 4 days and we wish the girls the very best of luck!
