Regina Mundi College Music Department London Tour – Day 2 Update

September 3, 2025

Last night, the students enjoyed a spectacular performance of The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre. The cast delivered an unforgettable show, with powerful vocals and captivating stagecraft that truly brought the story to life. After the curtain fell, the group had the unique opportunity to meet the actors playing Christine and Raoul at the stage door. The performers warmly posed for a photo and expressed their delight at meeting a choir from an all-girls school in Ireland.

This morning began with a walk through the picturesque Hyde Park, taking in sights such as Kensington Palace, The Albert Memorial, and the Royal Albert Hall, before arriving at the Natural History Museum. There, the students were particularly fascinated by the dinosaur exhibits and took part in engaging explorations of plate tectonics.

Later, a scenic cruise along the River Thames offered a new perspective on the city’s iconic landmarks. Lunch was enjoyed at Liverpool Street, followed by a real-world lesson in navigating London’s Underground system—an excellent learning experience for all.

The group is now at London Stansted Airport, awaiting their flight home after a memorable and enriching visit to London.
