This year saw the inaugural presentation of the Ella Dalton Memorial Prize at University College Cork, awarded in memory of past Regina Mundi College student Ella Dalton.
Following Ella’s passing, her family and school friends led a remarkable fundraising campaign, raising €12,000 to honour her life, her aspirations, and her enduring connection to the school community.
We are proud to congratulate the first recipients of this special award, Ellie Brennan and Elspeth Olivianne Baxter, both of whom were classmates of Ella at Regina Mundi College. Ellie is now studying Speech and Language Therapy, while Elspeth is pursuing Law and French.
This memorial prize is a powerful testament to the values of friendship, resilience, and academic ambition that are fostered in Regina Mundi College, and we are honoured to see Ella’s memory celebrated in such a meaningful way.
