On Tuesday 14 October, the second year Home Economics class paid a visit to Joe’s Farm Crisps in Killeagh. They were shown around the farm, taught about sustainable practices, seasonal produce and crop rotation. The girls each picked some beautiful beetroot, carrots and potatoes, and all went home with a beautiful pumpkin to carve or eat for Halloween. We highly recommend Joe’s farm, as well as their delicious crisps.
