Well done to our Senior A hockey team who defeated Laurel Hill Colaiste 1-0 in the plate quarter final today in Garryduff. There was nothing between the two teams in the first two quarters with the ball moving from one end to the other. Early in the third quarter, we won our only short corner. This was excellently finished by Ava Ahearne. Laurel Hill piled on the pressure for the remainder of the game but our defense stood strong. A masterclass display in goalkeeping by Lily O’Regan Lynch along with our fearless defenders ensured that Laurel Hill were kept scoreless. Well done to all the girls involved!
