November 3, 2025

As part of RMC’s Stand Up Awareness Week, we will be running a competition called “Which LGBTQ+ personality is best known for?

Fifteen LGBTQ+ personality posters are placed around the school with lots of information identifying why each person is best known in society. Each day this week questions will be posted on the LGBTQ+ noticeboard and here on the app.

You must find the personality who is being described in the question around the school. Entry forms can be found on the LGBTQ+ noticeboard. Completed entries must be returned to the submission box in the well by 3.30 this Friday. Remember to put your name on the back of your entry form!

Please ensure the answer for question 1 goes into the box numbered 1 and so on for the rest of the week. Correctly, completed forms will be entered into a draw for a Nando’s voucher.

Which LGBTQ+ Personality is best known for

  1. their work at Bletchley Park during World War II, and his part in breaking the German Enigma code to help end the war
  2. paying tribute to Princess Diana, with the single “Candle in the Wind” in 1997.
  3. lending their voice to the animated box office smash Finding Nemo, in which she plays a friendly yet forgetful little blue fish named Dory. Later returning in 2016 for Finding Dory.

Good luck!
