Minor Soccer quarter final V Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí

The Minor Soccer team took the long trip down west to Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí for a quarter final tie in the Cork cup. Thankfully, the trip was worthwhile because the team returned with a 5-1 victory.
In truth, the scoreline didn’t reflect our dominance throughout the game. We made an enormous amount of chances and we applied sustained pressure throughout the contest. We dominated the majority of the ball and we thoroughly deserved the win.
The goalscorers on the day were:
Emily Collier (2.P) x2
Olivia Browne (3.T)
Thea Barry (3.Z)
Blaithín Nevin (2.Z)
Although those four students secured their fantastic goals, every person played their part in putting Regina Mundi College into the Semi-Final of the Cork Cup where they will play Ashton.
