Huge congratulations to Ruth Kingston and Aoife Henry! On Sunday, they competed in the Final of the Macroom Food Festival Cook-Off Competition — an incredible achievement. Their dish was nothing short of impressive: Michael Twomey’s free-range pork burger with caramelised apple and Cashel Blue cheese, served in a soft Pop Crowley’s brioche with homemade cucumber pickle, slaw, chutney, and home-cut wedges. Cooking live in front of the public was not only a fantastic way to showcase the very best of local produce, but also a very valuable experience for both Ruth and Aoife. Well done girls!
