Leaving Certificate Graduation Mass and Ceremony

May 27, 2025

Last Thursday, we gathered as a school community to mark a deeply significant moment in the lives of our Sixth Year students – the Leaving Certificate Graduation Mass and Ceremony.

The Mass, concelebrated by Fr Pat O’Mahony, was a beautiful and reflective occasion, offering us the opportunity to pause and celebrate the journey of the Class of 2025. Over the past six years, these students have contributed immensely to the life of Regina Mundi College – not just through their academic efforts, but through their friendships, their values, and their daily presence in our school.

The liturgy was thoughtfully prepared by the students themselves. They selected the hymns and scripture readings, composed the Prayers of the Faithful and Offertory reflections, and designed the Mass booklet artwork. Their personal touch brought depth and meaning to the celebration.

Following the Mass, Ms Lucey addressed the assembly, offering her congratulations and words of encouragement. Our Head Girl, Ella Delamere Cooney, then shared her reflections on behalf of the Class of 2025. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Graduation Certificates.

Guests were warmly invited to enjoy refreshments in the Art Room, generously provided by our Parents’ Council.

This was a day of pride, emotion, and gratitude – a fitting tribute to the students of the Class of 2025 and a celebration of all they have become.
