The MFL Department are inviting all students to enter our Languages Week Poster Competition. Languages open hearts and minds is the slogan for this year, chosen by the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML). This theme reflects the fact that language learning involves both the emotions and the brain. As well as improving cognitive skills and providing a bridge to connect people, language learning facilitates the exchange of ideas, emotions and experiences, building empathy and respect for different ways of life.
The deadline for the competition is Monday 29th September. When your entry is ready, don’t forget to label it with your name and class, then drop it into the entry box outside the Art Room.
