Aoibhinn Keohane (3Z), Ciara Sinnott (3Z) and Ruth Kingston (3P) represented Regina Mundi at the annual ThermoFisher Scientific Junior Cycle Science Quiz hosted by the ISTA Cork branch on the 30th April. The event brought together 35 teams from a range of schools around Cork for an exciting evening celebrating science and learning.
The quiz challenged students with a wide range of thought-provoking questions covering various aspects of the Junior Cycle Science curriculum. Despite the tough competition, Aoibhinn, Ciara, and Ruth showed impressive teamwork and knowledge, ultimately securing an excellent 6th place finish.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to engage with science outside the classroom in a fun, competitive environment, and they represented the school with great enthusiasm and pride. Well done girls!
