The 6th year Home Economics class carried out sensory analysis tests this week as is done in the Food Industry. The girls conducted preference, difference and descriptive tests to guage consumer preferences. They looked at (amongst other things) whether their peers could detect the difference between Barry’s and Lyons tea, which popcorn brand tastes the saltiest, and whether the difference between genuine and own brand “pringles” was detectable. Well done girls on your excellent efforts!
