Our first year A, B, and C hockey teams had the pleasure of attending hockey tournaments hosted by Ursulines Blackrock yesterday. Our C team was up first in the B’s tournament with a win, two draws, and a loss the girls narrowly missed out on a playoff position but an excellent effort was put in. This was then followed with both our A and B teams in the A’s tournament. The B team played some tough matches drawing one and narrowly losing the other two by 1 goal margins. Our A team also showed off their fight by making it through to the tournament finals against St.Angela’s. The match was extremely back and forth with plenty of attacking moments from both ends. However, with only seconds to go St. Angelas scored and the whistle was blown. A narrow loss with excellent hockey played by all. Well done to all of the 1st year girls involved and a quick thank you to the TYs who helped coach each of the three teams.
