The First Year Soccer Team had an impressive result today against Midleton College. The final result was 7-0 to Regina Mundi.
Our girls enjoyed the majority of the possession for the entire game and if it wasn’t for Midleton’s excellent goalkeeper, it could have been a higher scoreline. The entire team from back to front played brilliantly. The team never ceased to run, fight and call for every ball. At halftime, it was a modest scoreline of 1-0 to RMC but in truth, this didn’t reflect how strong our side is. Hence, in the second half, the girls grew in the game and managed to put 6 into the back of Midleton’s net. Well done girls!
