Last week, in conjunction with our open evening, the TY students had the chance to participate in a cake decorating competition. The girls showed great creativity and skill, and enjoyed the experience. Congratulations to the winners: In the individual competition Carla Collins Powell won with her love-heart cake, and Kayla O’Brien took 2nd place with her beautifully decorated galaxy cupcakes. The pairs competition was won by Aoife Poulter and Sophie Flanagan with their “seaside” cake. Annie Quilligan and Ciara Sinnott came 2nd with their butterfly cake, and Orla Corkery and Jenny O’Donovan took 3rd place with their cartoon cake. Well done, and thank you to everyone who participated!
