Our first day in Paris was a great success. We departed early from Cork Airport and arrived at Beauvais, with some free time for breakfast before heading into the city.
The day began with a scenic boat trip on the Seine aboard the Bateaux Mouches, offering beautiful views of landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Musée d’Orsay. After lunch at the Louvre, we enjoyed a peaceful walk through the Tuileries Garden before taking a guided bus tour of Paris. The tour included iconic sights such as the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, and the Opéra Garnier.
We then checked in to the Explorers Hotel, where the girls had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the swimming pool before dinner. After a long and exciting day, everyone settled in for a good night’s sleep – ready for the magic of Disneyland!
