Our first year camogie players travelled out to Mallow on Wednesday to compete in a blitz. The girls played really well in all 3 games and worked together as a team. Putting in great effort they lost their first match against Kanturk , with a score of 4.3 – 2.3.They then drew their next match against Crosshaven with a score of 1.5 – 2.2 to Regina.Finally all their hard work paid off against Ballincollig , the girls putting in great effort and teamwork and coming out on top with a score of 2.2 to 1.2 The girls enjoyed their day out and great camogie skill was displayed. Thank you to our Transition Year students Hannah Hunt, Meadhbh O’Connell, Brianna Lynch, Maeve O Shea and Leah Conway who organised the warm up and team bonding with the girls on the day.
