Our senior A hockey team had their second league match today against Newtown. They had a comprehensive 6-0 win. Displaying great tackling, team work and passing out of defence. Goals from Roisin O’Mahoney and Sally Murray inside the first quarter put the team at ease. This was followed up by a great finish by Katie Toomey from a short corner to make it 3-0 at half time. We pushed on again in the second half applying great pressure to Newtown. This resulted in goals from Jane Egar and 2 more from Katie.
