Deputy Lord Mayor Honore Kamegni welcomed a number of Regina Mundi College students to the City Council Chamber on Wednesday 16th October. These students completed the John Buckley Youth Challenge 10K Run as part of Cork City Marathon on a beautiful sunny June Bank- Holiday Sunday. Not only did they enjoy the experience but they were also raising money for the Ella Dalton Foundation.
The numbers completing the Youth Challenge 10 K are increasing year-on-year and the school extends its congratulations to the students who ran this year- Ava Burgess, Clodagh Henry, Sophie Ahearne, Ava Ahearne, Syrah Kenna, Lola Curham, Grace Thompson, Slaney O’ Brien, Louise Cahill, Andrea Lehane, Lilimarie Scannell, Sarah Daly and Amy O’ Flynn.
