After a long day of travel yesterday, the students enjoyed a night’s rest in their host families homes. An early start saw them commence their school day at 7.40am. They were welcomed by the principal and the school choir before they headed for classes. Throughout the day they made various presentations on Ireland, Cork, school life and Irish culture. These presentations were received with enthusiasm. The standard of their work was lauded. They experienced some local German delicacies in a blind food tasting as well. This afternoon the girls participated in traditional German bowling and an intercultural table quiz. The evening finished with a pizza party. All the students are looking forward to the class trips tomorrow.
