Following an early departure from Cork airport, members of the Regina Mundi College School Choir and Orchestra arrived in London. The group boarded a bus for Westfield Shopping Centre where they had some time to browse the array of shops and enjoy some lunch. The afternoon saw the girls embark on a guided sightseeing tour of London where they saw Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Tower of London, London Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminister Abbey and Trafalgar Square. Dinner was had in Pizza Express. The highlight of the day was the West End powerful performance of Les Miserables. The spectacular show mesmerised the entire tour group, students and staff alike. The day ended with the group checking in to their hotel and straight to bed after an active day. We look forward to today’s activities.
