Archaeology Excavations in E3

1Z took on the job of an archaeologist in todays History lesson. Having learned the skills required during the week to excavate a site, they had to put their learning to the test today.
Their job was to carefully excavate the artefacts (cookie chips) from the soil (biscuit) using a toothpick. The girls learned that excavating requires a lot of patience, determination and in this case a lot of hard work not to eat their site. However, when their days work was done they were allowed to eat their cookies, well… what was left of them!
Well done girls – excellent effort!
