This year marked the second presentation of the Ella Dalton Memorial Prize at University College Cork, awarded in memory of past Regina Mundi College student Ella Dalton.
Following Ella’s passing, her family and school friends led a remarkable fundraising campaign, raising €12,000 to honour her life, her aspirations, and her enduring connection to the school community. Through their generosity and dedication, Ella’s legacy continues to inspire and support students as they embark on their third-level journey.
We are very proud to congratulate this year’s recipient of this special award, Arden Mallari, who is currently studying Law and Irish at University College Cork. Arden is a most deserving recipient, embodying the commitment to academic excellence and determination that this prize represents.
The Ella Dalton Memorial Prize remains a powerful testament to the values of friendship, resilience, and academic ambition that are fostered in Regina Mundi College. We are honoured to see Ella’s memory continue to be celebrated in such a meaningful and enduring way.
