It was very contrasting conditions to what we had on Tuesday but that didn’t impact our athlete’s performances.
We had 3 students competing across the day in the long jump, 1500m & 75m hurdles.
Belle Scannell took part in the Junior long jump and did extremely well for her first competition with a jump of 3.24m.
Ali May Kirwin also took part in the minor long jump and qualified for the final 6 in the competition.
However the highlight of the day for her was her 3rd place finish in the minor 75m hurdles where she took home the bronze medal. She will now advance to the Munster competition.
Emily Byrne competed in the intermediate 1500m where she ran an impressive time of 5.34.
Well done to all three students on representing the school so well.
