On Monday of this week our Senior Camogie team reached the county final. In challenging weather conditions, they overcame Buttevant on a scoreline of 5-6 to 0-5. In what was a tough and physical encounter the girls used the ball really well to engineer numerous scoring chances against the wind in the first half to leave the score 3-4 to 0-4 at halftime. In the second half scores were more difficult to come by but 2 goals in the last 10 minutes put the result beyond doubt and more accurately reflected the dominant performance which we displayed. Well done to all the players involved.
