On Wednesday, 1st October, our school community gathered at St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown, to celebrate the opening of the school year with a special Mass, celebrated by Fr. Pat O’Mahony. The liturgy was greatly enriched by the active participation of our students through the choir and orchestra, as well as their involvement in the readings, Prayers of the Faithful, offertory gifts, and artwork prepared for the Mass booklet. The celebration was coordinated by the RE Department, whose efforts ensured a meaningful and uplifting start to our school year. At the end of Mass, Ms. Lucey reflected on the many successes already achieved by our school community this year and extended her best wishes to every member of the school community for the year ahead.
