TY students along with those studying Leaving Cert Computer Science were given the opportunity to attend a talk on Careers in IT this morning. The guest speaker was a great role model for the students, past pupil Louise Walsh, a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola. The talk focused on the lack of gender equality in STEM and the opportunities that lie ahead.
