A busy year on the tennis front came to an end with 3 teams reaching Munster schools tennis finals which took place on Wednesday. 

The U16s cup team were up first, they defeated an extremely strong St Al’s Carrigwhohill team. Our girls showed determination and composure coming through in a 3-2 win against the reigning champions. Players on the day Ava McMahon, Jessie Cunningham, Beth O’Connell and Honor O‘Mullane 

Next up were the U14 shield team. They had a fantastic 4-0 win over Ard Scoil Na Mara to win this years Munster shield title. Players on the day were Amber Wyse, Olivia Wyse, Beth McLaughlin and Isobel Lenehan. 

The U16s shield team came up just short in their final in very hard fought close matches against a really strong St Mary’s, Nenagh. Players on the team Sinéad Allen, Róisín Allen, Kayna Curtin, Louise Bowler and Lucy Sullivan.

Well done to all the girls this year on a very successful year. A big thank you to all the staff and parents who helped and supported the teams throughout the year.
