The 6th year Home Economics class took a trip to the Cork Butter Museum today, and the girls kept their spirits up despite the weather. They enjoyed a demonstration of the traditional method of making butter, and learned how important butter has been to Cork since the 18th century. A quick visit to the Shandon sweet shop on the way back to South Mall was a treat.
