Day 1 of our First Year Paris Tour got off to an early start yesterday with a very early departure from Cork! Although we arrived to grey skies in Paris, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits as students embraced a busy and exciting first day in the French capital.
The group enjoyed some time exploring the beautiful Tuileries Gardens before stopping for lunch. This was followed by a guided tour of the city, taking in many of Paris’ most iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Panthéon and the Arc de Triomphe.
Students then experienced Paris from the water with a memorable boat trip along the River Seine before enjoying dinner at Sette Restaurant. To round off a fantastic first day, there was time for some swimming in the hotel pool before a well-earned bedtime.
A busy but very enjoyable start to the tour — we look forward to more adventures today at Disneyland Paris!
