Second year Home Economics CBA1 Creative textiles

Our second year home economics students recently completed their CBA1 creative textiles. These students selected the sustainability brief which required them to upcycle an old textile item. Students choose to make memory cushions from old shirts, denim bags from old jeans , a make up bag from an old cardigan and from an old pillow case, and a Christmas stocking made from the leg of an old pyjamas. The girls worked very hard and demonstrated some fantastic sewing skills throughout. Well done girls.
