Our first year classes excelled with their 3D, interactive and edible geography models. A huge amount of effort went into the making of these models and the Geography department was very impressed by the talent and creativity of the students. Some of the volcanoes were exploded in the yard during Geography classes which was great fun to watch! Winners in 1Pi included – 1. Alanna Dalton, 2. Sara Afzal, 3. Lucy O’Brien with Orla Crowley and Molly Costello achieving Highly Commended for their fantastic work.  Winners in 1 Theta were as follows – 1. Clara Milner, 2. Ella Deasy, 3. Isabel Dowling with Highly Commended awarded to Freya Tynan and Caoimhe Barry.  Finally, winners in 1 Zeta were – 1. Faye Leonard, 2. Emily Kearney, 3 Bridget Moynihan with Maisie Fairbairn and Muireann McGuire achieving Highly Commended for their wonderful work.  Well done and congratulations to all of our first years for producing such fabulous models!
