After a late night journey from Regina Mundi College, the 1st Year students arrived in Paris this morning. They navigated their way through Charles de Gaulle Airport and boarded the coaches for the trip into the city of Paris. They enjoyed an informative guided tour of Paris taking in many famous and historical landmarks of the city including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay and the Grand and Petit Palais. Paris is in preparation for the 2024 Olympics. The work being done was explained to us and we were told how the landmarks would be incorporated into the games. After lunch in La Carousel de Louvre, the girls boarded the Bateaux Mouches. They got to witness the landmarks from the River Seine and revelled into pointing out the landmarks they had heard about in the morning. We headed for the Explorers Hotel at Disneyland. Dinner was most welcomed by all and currently the girls are enjoying some free time in the swimming pool.
