Congratulations are extended to 6th year Regina Mundi College student Sinéad O’Halloran following her recent victory in the Fr Frank Maher Music Bursary which is the largest post-primary classical music scholarship in the country. Cellist Sinéad played Elegie by Gabriel Faure and Allegro by Dimitri Shostakovich in the competition and was accompanied by Mr Garry Beecher. Sinéad plans to use the scholarship award to assist with the costs associated with attending some prestigious music festivals next year, including the Banff Music Festival in Canada.
