Following the recent BT Young Scientist exhibition in Dublin three RMC students have been invited to participate in the BT Business of Science & Technology Programme in UCD. The team of Tara McGuire, Emer Creedon and Aisling Moran are one of just thirty teams selected to attend the programme in March. The students will present their project entitled “The Best Scientific Method to Remove Wine Stains from Carpet” during the four day programme and attend workshops which will take them “through the entrepreneurial journey of taking a product to market”. Guest entrepreneurs will tell their stories and inspire budding entrepreneurs to follow their dreams. At the end of the programme each team will deliver a pitch to an evaluation panel of experts describing their product and how it will go to market. Congratulations to Tara, Emer and Aisling and their teacher Ms. Cassidy on being invited to this exciting event.
